Today Apple sent out a rare email to Apple Pay users with some offers for spring at Australian clothing and fashion retailers; discounts of between 20%-30% when you use Apple Pay online to check out, and enter the promo code.
While these offers are far more common overseas in the United States, hopefully this is a sign of more offers to come as a way to encourage uptake of Apple Pay (and everyone loves a good reward!)
Apple is also using it as part of an online advertising campaign, everywhere from Twitter (eg Nautica, Ben Sherman, Quiksilver, and Roxy) and banner ads across other websites.
